On Saturday, January 31st, 2009, Women’s Voices Chorus performed a concert of music inspired by Jewish texts, featuring the world premiere of “What You Are,” by Caroline Mallonée, works by Whitacre, Copland, Casals, and Pärt, and a variety of Yiddish and Hebrew folksongs.
