Along with the related theme of faith, the theme of love has certainly inspired more poetry and music than any other idea in the Western world in the last two millennia. Our music will highlight some of the many sides of romantic love, including young love, lost love, erotic love, and frustrated love. We also will sing of love for our sisters, justice, humanity, and the natural world. In singing music from places such as Bulgaria, Korea, Germany, Canada, Argentina, and Samoa, we hope to demonstrate both the musical diversity and the emotional universality of this theme. Regardless of the language or place, the desire to experience music and love is a common human bond.

Please join us for a delightful mix of pieces, representing Brahms, Whitacre, Gershwin, and others. The program will include repertoire from Renaissance music to show tunes and beyond.

Tickets are $5.00 for students and $15.00 for adults. You can purchase tickets through our website, from any chorus member, or at the door on the day of the event.

Free childcare will be available on-site during the concert. Childcare will be managed by experienced staff in the education wing down the hall from the sanctuary. There are a limited number of spaces. To reserve a spot, please email us the number of children and their ages by Friday, April 17.
