Here are the key take-aways from this week’s meeting of the search committee.

  • Search update. THE MOST EXCITING PART! We spent the bulk of the meeting reviewing and discussing applicants, ultimately selecting seven of the ten to invite to interview.
  • Chorus response form. Although the form (which chorus members will use to evaluate candidates who audition for us) is essentially complete, Deb is adding finishing touches that will make it easier to use.
  • Board outreach. The committee received positive feedback from Board members who read the finalized forms we shared last week. This week we’ll be sharing interview questions.
  • Interview calendar/NEXT WEEK. Ann will write on Tuesday to the seven selected candidates to offer time slots for videoconference interviews. Interview dates are April 29, May 3, and May 4. We have scheduled seven hours of interview time, figuring that each interview will last 35-40 minutes.
