Roster/Splits: For your convenience, I have included the Roster and Part Splits for this semester. This information can also be found on the website under Chorus and Board Info. Find your assigned part on page 2 for 4/8 and 3/6 splits.
Outstanding Dues: 5 members have not yet paid their dues. Membership dues are $175 per year if paid at the beginning of the season or $180 (three payments of $60) if paid in installments (at your first regular rehearsal, by November 3, 2025, and by January 4, 2026). Dues may be paid with cash, check, or credit card at rehearsal or online at any time here (scroll down to dues) or via Venmo (@WomensVoicesChorus), noting that the payment is for ‘dues’.
No one should feel the need to leave or hesitate to join the chorus for financial reasons. When paying online, an option is available to pay what you can, no questions asked. As always, you can also contact the Treasurer (Karla – kmkbyrnes@gmail.com) about scholarship help or to set up an alternate payment schedule or amount. All financial arrangements are confidential. Please note that unless you have made special arrangements, you must pay your first installment to receive your music and pay your dues in full in order to participate in the concerts.
Welcome Back Social: Mark your calendars! Please plan to join us for a Welcome Back Picnic Social on Saturday, 9/26/26, from 11 am- 2pm, at Forest Hills Park in Durham (1639 University Drive, Durham, NC 27707). Families are invited to join us during this event! Please RSVP using the following link before Thursday, September 24th. When you RSVP, please indicate in the comments if you will be having a Beef burger or a Veggie burger. If RSVP’ing for multiple people, please indicate for your whole group. There is a suggested donation of $5 per attendee. You can use Square (https://womens-voices-chorus.square.site/) or Venmo (@WomensVoicesChorus) to donate, with the memo “Picnic.”
****Rehearsal Parking Options: Two lots comprising 66 parking spaces are associated with the church (there are more than 66 members). On any given Monday, some of these spaces may be taken by church administrators and/or Lutheran Campus Ministry students, who have 24/7 access to the building. Please park in designated spaces only, remembering to leave the first two spots for Laura and Kirsten. Please respect church policy on this point and be certain to never block any parked car. If the lots are full, you can park in the Morehead Planetarium Lot (across Franklin Street) by obtaining a $1 temporary one-night pass through the ParkMobile App, ParkMobile phone number, ParkMobile website, or a designated weeknight pay station. See www.parkonthehill.com for more info. We highly encourage carpooling! Kinley has created a carpool map that is also located on our website. You must be signed in as a Member. Click on Chorus and Board Info and find the link for the Carpooling Map. Ask someone who lives or works near you if she would like to share a ride. Also, if you have a handicap tag, please try to park in one of the designated handicap spaces so that they are not left unused. If you need a prime spot for access purposes, please plan to arrive early. The doors will open no later than 7:00 pm.
Funds Raised to Date: I have attached a pie chart detailing the funds raised to date as of August 31, 2026. Each month I will include this graphic so the membership has a better understanding of our budget and how funds are raised.
