Hi Everyone,

Many thanks to everyone who participated in the retreat on Saturday and to all who made the event possible.  Shout-outs to Kinley for her logistical wizardry and all of the helpers, Wendy, for planning our fantastic potluck, and all of you for providing a bountiful spread for all to enjoy. Special thanks to Deb for her artistry and unending support. And finally, to Laura for arranging for us to work with Ayumi and Linda, leading us through some challenging repertoire, and forging ahead with confidence, grace, and joy! Our mini-performance was very much appreciated by the residents who attended, and several asked me how they could purchase tickets to our concert. I look forward to the progress we will make in the coming weeks. Keep up the good work!

Elections will be held during announcements by Kay Johnson at our rehearsal on Monday, April 15th.

Community Outreach Fund/Negro Spirituals Royalties Project: Now that we have selected a home-themed organization to support, it’s time to show the love! You can donate to Families Moving Forward (FMF) as part of our Community Outreach Fund or to Kidznotes as part of our Negro Spirituals Royalties Project. You can donate via our website by selecting Donate under the Support WVC tab, using Square or Venmo, and specifying FMF or Kidznotes in the notes. You can also donate at rehearsal; we will have boxes available to accept checks or cash. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
