Hi everyone,

Pecan December Orders: The next deadline for orders is December 1 (delivery December 8). Diane will have paper forms at rehearsal. You can also download the forms from the Fundraising page in the Members section of our website or from the following links: Friends and Family Form and Consolidated Order Form. If you have any questions, please contact Diane Wold (S2).

T-shirts and Swag sale: The t-shirt and swag site is up and running with all the products and options. In addition to our classic t-shirt – designed by our own Susan Brown, car magnets, and personalized bag tags and water bottles – to show your Women’s Voices Chorus spirit and never again lose your water bottle at rehearsal! – The sale features a beautiful new design by our own Ellie Sheridan, celebrating our January 2026 concert in collaboration with Sisters’ Voices, Rise Up! Orders can be placed here. Browse and enjoy, but don’t take too long to order – the sale closes on December 1. Purchased items will be available for pick up at the WVC rehearsal on Monday, January 5.

Table Sale – Monday, December 1st! The theme will be Holiday Market – a marketplace for all WVC members to shop and sell gifts for the holidays! If you are unfamiliar, table sales allow us to internally fundraise through second-hand sales. Think “yard sale” meets “boutique” (or if you’re like me, your favorite thrift store). Members are invited to donate well-kept items to be sold at yard sale pricing to other members. A “How-To” for table sales can be found on the Fundraising page in the Members dropdown menu on the WVC website. This table sale is a great way to rehome items that would bring someone else joy this holiday season! Suggested items include jewelry, holiday decorations, winter accessories (gloves, hats, scarves, etc.), extra wrapping paper, or homemade crafts/artwork!

Shopping will begin at 7 PM and continue during the rehearsal break. We will also be including a final “flash sale” at the end of the full choir’s rehearsal to encourage one final round of shopping! Anyone bringing items to sell, please arrive early to rehearsal (ideally before 7 PM) so that your items have enough time to be perused/purchased! We will have QR codes available to pay via Square and Venmo, and will accept cash as well. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer to help with the sales, please reach out to Julianne at (919)943-9896or juliannev12@gmail.com.

This will be a full run through of the concert followed by rehearsal. We WILL be wearing our regular concert dress for this performance.
  • Scarves will be available for purchase at rehearsal on December 8th and 15thWe are requesting a suggested donation of $12 per scarf. Payment can be made by cash, check, venmo (@WomensVoicesChorus), or Square.

Program Ads: It is time again to prepare our next concert program, which means time to consider selling or buying ads or tributes for the program. Please consider approaching vendors you know well and asking them to support the arts in this way; it allows them to get their message to our loyal audience and brings our name into the community. It also helps us spread the financial support of the chorus beyond our members and families/friends, something most members say they would like us to do. Most importantly, with ads we can continue producing a hard-copy program, which is a valuable addition to our audience’s enjoyment of our concerts. This cannot happen if you do not ask. Prices have not changed from last season; please use the attached forms, which are also available on the Buy Ads and Tributes page of our website. If you have any questions, please reach out to Rebecca Bruening (rebecca.bruening@gmail.com).

Shout-outs: This week, the shout-out goes to Marsha Ferguson.  Marsha volunteers as our music librarian and organizes the individual music packets for us each season. In addition, she volunteers her time to help set up our rehearsal space and welcomes our guests at auditions too!  Thank you, Marsha, for all that you do on behalf of WVC!

Zoom: If you need to attend rehearsal via Zoom, please remember to notify Laura, your section leader and membership liaison. You can join the Zoom Rehearsals here. Meeting ID: 858 3293 4624; Password: 121074.

See you all tomorrow!
