Hope everyone had a wonderful week. As we get closer to the concert, please be sure to read the announcements for important information.
Concert Tickets. Membership Liaisons will distribute tickets at rehearsal tomorrow night.
Ticket prices: Adult: $20, Student: $10, Group: $15 (Group rates are available for groups of 10 or more.) Each member receives 5 tickets to sell. You may request more tickets at any rehearsal. You will receive 1 comp ticket for every 5 tickets you sell. Mark the type of ticket sold on both the ticket and stub. Do not tear the stub. Payments:
1) Checks should be made out to Women’s Voices Chorus.
2) If you would like to pay for presale tickets online, you can do so at our square store (preferred) or
3) by paying with Venmo (@WomensVoicesChorus) or
4) PayPal (treasurer@womensvoiceschorus.org)
Have ticket purchasers pay you directly and pay the total from your account. Add a note to the online payment that it is for presale tickets and include your name. Note that payment was made online on the ticket envelope.
You may return money and/or unsold tickets in your ticket envelope to Allison or your Membership Liaison at any rehearsal. Please mark your envelope with the number of tickets sold and amounts in the spaces provided. All unsold tickets and money are due on Monday, January 22.

Concert Ads – It is time again to prepare our next concert program, which means time to consider selling or buying ads or tributes for the program. Please consider approaching vendors you know well and asking them to support the arts in this way; it allows them to get their message to our loyal audience and brings our name into the community. It also helps us spread the financial support of the chorus beyond our members and families/friends, something most members say they would like us to do. Most important, with ads we can continue producing a hard-copy program, which is a valuable addition to our audience’s enjoyment of our concerts. This cannot happen if you do not ask. Prices and procedures have not changed from last year; please use the attached forms, which are available on the WVC website “Store” page, here. In addition to ads from your favorite business, we invite you to participate in a unique “tribute” opportunity this season celebrating WVC’s 30th anniversary: the ability to place a personal message in our winter concert program. You may want to congratulate the chorus on reaching this milestone, celebrate a member’s tenure in the group, or honor someone whose love of music has enhanced your own life. Two tribute sizes are available. The large is $50 and measures 2 ⅝” x 1 ⅔” with 6 lines maximum. The small is $25 and measures 2 ⅝” x ¾” with 3 lines maximum. Both allow 36 characters per line, including spaces. The tribute form includes more information and can be downloaded from the store page of our website (scroll below concert tickets). The deadline for ordering is December 21, 2023.
Table Sales –Our next sale will be November 20 (Holiday Hoopla – suggestions: Scarves, vests, sweaters, gloves, jackets, jewelry, ornaments, holiday decor, holiday gifts, candies, cookies)
Daffodils for Sale – Pauline Robinson has more daffodil bulbs ready to plant that she has kindly offered as a fund raising opportunity for Women’s Voices Chorus. These are all-white “Thalia” bulbs. Available for $5 per sq ft, ~ 10 bulbs. They are all cleaned up, healthy, and ready to bloom next spring. The catch is that they need to be planted in the next three weeks. We will be accepting cash, check or Venmo. Thanks everyone and thank you to Pauline!
