Hello Everyone,

What a thrill to have our first virtual rehearsal of our season last night! Although I certainly missed the sound of our voices I loved watching you sing and loved seeing your smiles and engaged faces.

It is very inspiring to know that Women’s Voices Chorus is strong in spirit even these challenging times.

There are so many wonderful and exciting plans for the months ahead – I am so looking forward to our virtual musical journey.

Here is a link to the 8/31/20 rehearsal. It has all the information you need, including links to items stored in a drive folder that you can download as well as links to rehearsal videos (and other items) uploaded to YouTube. This link also will take you to the link for our Zoom rehearsal video in case you missed or you would like to review.

WVC Rehearsal Notes and Links

I appreciate everyone’s patience and openness to a new way of experiencing music making with WVC. As hard as we try, we will always have technical glitches – but that is to be expected and I am grateful that the technology gives us the opportunity to continue in spite of its imperfections. I should mention that I am currently using my bluetooth earbuds for rehearsal – that spares us all from having to suffer through my noisy laptop fans. It may, however, at times cause synchronization issues with the videos I share during rehearsal – you may (or may not) experience this – but please know that I am aware and doing everything I can to minimize this but most is beyond my control. When you access the videos on your own, you will find that there are no sync issues. 🙂 I noticed when I rendered the rehearsal video that even when I sang along with my own videos there were sync issues (so I will stop doing that!)! Ah well, always something new to experience and learn.

Looking ahead to 9/14/20

I have invited our founding and current members, Elisabeth Curtis, Patty Daniel, and Jaqueline Little to join in, as well. I am looking forward to hearing all of the stories!
