Happy Mother’s Day to all – whether you are celebrating/remembering your own Mom or being celebrated yourself, hope you are enjoying this glorious day! Below are a few announcements:
1) Survey: If you have completed the survey, thank you. If you have not already done so, please complete the survey as soon as possible. Despite the deadline being today, we have heard back from less than half of the chorus! This information is very important because the Board uses your responses to make decisions about our upcoming season. I am extending the deadline until Thursday, May 16th. 2) Durham Community Sing: June 8th https://www.choral-society.org/durham-community-sing.html WVC will be singing Swing Low for this event. 3) Funeral Arrangements for Pete Andrews: The first service will be held on Friday, May 17th at 2pm at Chapel of the Cross, Chapel Hill. There will be a second service for the Carolina Meadows community on Monday, June 3rd (time TBD, probably early afternoon).
4) Update on the Rokoske Family: Franzi has made some updates to the Meal Train. If you are interested in helping to support their family, here is the link https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/zo1l6o
