Hi Everyone,
Welcome to Tech Week! Tomorrow night will be our first technical rehearsal at Holy Trinity from 7-10PM. The second technical rehearsal will be at our concert venue, ERUUF (4907 Garrett Rd, Durham, NC 27707) on Wednesday from 7-10. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes so you are comfortable throughout the long rehearsals.
1) Concert Scarves and Concert Folders: Both scarves and black concert folders will be available at each of the technical rehearsals (Monday and Thursday). If you need a Spring scarf for our concert on Saturday, please see Rah Bickley (A1) to either borrow a scarf or purchase one for $10. If you borrow a scarf, sign out the scarf on the clipboard and please keep the Ziploc bag provided in your concert folder. After the concert, please place the scarf in the Ziploc bag and return to Rah. When signing out a black folder, please put your name next to the folder number on the sheet. If you are going to hold onto the folder for the Ireland tour, please check the column that says “return after tour”
2) Spring Banquet and Donations: Monday, May 6, 6:30-9:00pm at the FARM Clubhouse. Please sign up and/or make your contributions by Monday, April 29th. The cost of the catering is $28 per person. We are suggesting a contribution of $20 per person, but please pay what you can even if that’s $0. There will be a box on the back table at rehearsals for cash/check donations or you can pay via Square, or Venmo (@WomensVoicesChorus). If you would like to bring drinks or desserts instead of or in addition to contributing (these will not be provided by the caterer) you can sign up here.
3) Concert Tickets – Any questions, please see Allison Mangin (S2). All unsold tickets and money are due on Monday, April 29.
4) Negro Spiritual Royalties Project – If you’d like to contribute to this spring’s inaugural donation, you can bring money, check, or a Venmo account to Megan Hast, who will be collecting donations until our May 4 concert, or place donations in the designated box at rehearsal. You can also donate online at the regular WVC donations portal and designate “Spiritual Royalties Project matching funds” in the comments at checkout.
5) T-shirts: Amy will have the remaining t-shirts available Monday April 29th.
