Lots of announcements again tonight…….
1) If you have special needs for the concert performance (chair, stands, etc) or have a guest who requires reserved handicapped parking, please let Kinley know as soon as possible.
2) Final Table Sale – April 22nd – Summertime’s Calling Me Artwork: Focus on fiber arts and pottery, all artwork welcome, Travel gear – suitcases, totes, purses, wallets, and more, Books for summer reading / Seedlings & cuttings for the garden. Please bring your items early and already priced. Sale will take place between 7-7:30 and at break. All proceeds go to the WVC Tour Financial Aid. For more information click here.
3) Spring Banquet and Donations: Monday, May 6, 6:30-9:00pm at the FARM Clubhouse. Please sign up and/or make your contributions by Monday, April 22nd. The cost of the catering is $28 per person. We are suggesting a contribution of $20 per person, but please pay what you can even if that’s $0. There will be a box on the back table at rehearsals for cash/check donations or you can pay via Square, or Venmo (@WomensVoicesChorus). If you would like to bring drinks or desserts instead of or in addition to contributing (these will not be provided by the caterer) you can sign up here.
4) Concert Dress – Reminder that WVC Concert dress is all black, from collar to toe, including shoes and socks:
Black tops (3/4 length sleeves or longer) – no beads, sequins, netting, lace, velvet, etc.
Black floor-length dress pants or skirts (no patterns, velvet, ruffles, or tiers).
Black opaque socks/tights and black closed-toe shoes.
Seasonal scarves can be purchased for $10 or borrowed – Please see Rah at the tech rehearsal.
Black folders are available if needed – Please see Sue Regier at the tech rehearsals.
5) Concert Tickets – Any questions, please see Allison Mangin (S2). All unsold tickets and money are due on Monday, April 29.
6) Negro Spiritual Royalties Project – If you’d like to contribute to this spring’s inaugural donation, you can bring money, check, or a Venmo account to Megan Hast, who will be collecting donations until our May 4 concert, or place donations in the designated box at rehearsal. You can also donate online at the regular WVC donations portal and designate “Spiritual Royalties Project matching funds” in the comments at checkout.
7) T-shirts: Amy will not be at rehearsal tomorrow night but will have the remaining t-shirts available next Monday April 29th.
