Hello Everyone,

I had such a fun time with everyone on Saturday and am very happy with all that we accomplished. We are in a great place to dig deeper on each of our pieces. Lots of detail work ahead.

I echo Kay’s thanks to all and also thank her for her presentation. Since we had such a short time to spend on her material, I have invited Kay to spend 5-7 minutes during our upcoming warm ups to give us the opportunity to apply the concepts that she shared with us. Looking forward to it!

What a treat to hear Deb play. Thank you, Deb!

Our sectionals for March will be short – the last 20 minutes or so of rehearsal, and in the order below. Please let your sectional leaders know on which pieces you need clarification and/or repetition:
March 7 – Altos
March 14 – Mezzos
March 21 – Sopranos
Anyone is welcome to stay for any sectional.

From March 28 through April, our rehearsals will go until 9:30 for everyone.

During our first three March rehearsals, we will focus on accomplishing detailed work on four pieces each week, and if we have time, sing through several others for review. As we rehearse, please make notes in your scores. Please also review on your own from week to week. As Kay advised, a little ‘warbling’ every day is great for our voices.

For our last rehearsal in March, we will sing through all of our repertoire, leading us into the home stretch before our concert.
