After 12 years as the Artistic Director of Women’s Voices Chorus, our beloved Allan Friedman is stepping away. With his guidance, our chorus has grown in size, skill, and reputation, and we’ve shared moments of exquisite beauty—and many, many laughs—along the way. Allan writes, “I have learned so much about resilience, feminism, and sisterhood from these people, and I will miss them dearly as I pursue some other opportunities, including more time with my dear wife and son.”
We’ll miss him, too, and deeply, but we’re grateful for our years together and we wish him great happiness and success. Our final concert with Allan will be on Sunday, April 28th, 2019. Please join us. Bring hankies.
