Hi everyone,
I am looking forward to singing together tomorrow night as we enter the home stretch for the semester. Please take note of the announcements below:
1) Continuing Member Spring Registration: We hope that everyone will be returning for our Spring semester. Whether you plan to join us or not, please take a moment to fill out this very short form letting us know your intentions: https://forms.gle/SN8WvegfKFCFW4wNA. We’d appreciate your responses as soon as possible, but no later than January 19th so we can be prepared for our new semester start on February 2nd. This will take you a matter of seconds to complete. Thank you!
2) Important Dates for upcoming events: When we return to rehearsal next week, we will be moving full steam ahead toward our performance at Carolina Meadows on January 12th, followed by our concert. Please mark your calendars with dates and locations for upcoming rehearsals.
· Monday, January 12, 2026: Tech Rehearsal at Carolina Meadows 100 Whippoorwill Lane, Chapel Hill, from 7-10 PM. Please arrive early and be ready to go in Concert Dress.
· Monday, January 19, 2026: No rehearsal
· Thursday, January 22, 2026: Tech Rehearsal at First Presbyterian Church 305 East Main Street, Durham from 7-10 PM
· Sunday, January 25, 2026: Winter Concert at First Presbyterian Church; 1:30 Call 3PM Concert
· Monday, January 26, 2026: Listening Party at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 6:30-9PM
3) Concert Dress: Please identify the articles of clothing needed. If you have not yet picked up your scarf, please do so on Monday, January 5th. If you need to borrow a black concert folder (with and without straps (for stands), Sue Regier will have them available at rehearsal on January 5th. We will be wearing full concert dress for our mini-concert at Carolina Meadows on January 12th.
4) Concert Tickets: All ticket money and unsold tickets are due Monday, January 12. Tickets will be collected at Carolina Meadows by your membership chair. If you have additional questions, please contact Allison Mangin (allisonmangin@gmail.com).
5) WVC Swag: We expect the orders to be delivered tomorrow. Sarah will have the items available for pickup at a back table before rehearsal and at the break.
